In one paragraph
We are an independent editorial site with no affiliation to Anthropic. We publish guides, comparisons and tools covering Claude Fable 5 and the models around it, in English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. We do not sell, resell or broker access to any model — you buy that from Anthropic. Every factual claim traces to a primary source and carries a date, and when we are wrong we fix it in public.

Long-form coverage of the things that decide a build: specifications and API parameters, pricing and cost math, safeguard behavior and refusal handling, migration from Opus 4.8, and head-to-head comparisons with Opus 5, Sonnet 5 and non-Anthropic alternatives. Where the honest answer is that a cheaper model is the better choice, we say that.

Three languages, one set of facts
Everything is published in English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese. The localized versions are written to read naturally in each language, not passed through a translator, and they carry the same numbers, the same dates and the same caveats. If a figure is corrected in one language, it is corrected in all three.
How we verify what we publish
This model family moves faster than the documentation about it, and a lot of what circulates online is confidently wrong. Here is the process we hold ourselves to.
Primary sources first
Prices, model IDs, limits, plan terms and API behavior come from Anthropic's own announcements, developer documentation and support articles. Third-party benchmark definitions come from the benchmark's own paper or leaderboard — Scale AI for SWE-Bench Pro, OpenAI for GDPval, the OSWorld authors for OSWorld. Press reporting is used only for events Anthropic has not documented itself, and when we rely on it we label it as reporting rather than confirmation.
Every number carries a date
We write explicit calendar dates instead of "recently" or "last month", because a relative date silently rots while an absolute one visibly ages. Pricing, benchmark figures and plan terms are re-checked against the source before each publish, and pages show when they were last reviewed. Where a number comes from a vendor's internal harness rather than an independent run, we say so in the sentence that uses it.
Corrections in public
When we get something wrong, we fix the page and record what changed rather than quietly editing history. Factual errors — a wrong price, a wrong date, a benchmark attributed to the wrong model — are prioritized over everything else in the queue and usually corrected the same day we learn of them. If a claim turns out to be unverifiable, we remove it rather than soften it.
What independence costs us
We take no payment for placement in any comparison, and no vendor reviews our copy before it ships. That is why this site tells you Opus 5 at $5/$25 is the better default for most work, that Sonnet 5 covers most routine coding, and that Fable 5's mandatory 30-day retention is a real compliance blocker — conclusions that are inconvenient for a site named after Fable 5. We would rather be useful twice than promotional once.
